Engine 55 - 2008 Pierce Arrow XT Custom Pumper built on a TAC 4 suspension, with seating for six personnel. The unit is powered by a 515hp Detroit Diesel Series 60 engine coupled with an Allison Gen IV automatic transmission. The engine has a Waterous 1,500 g.p.m. single stage pump with a 750 gallon poly tank. There are two pre-connected 1 Ύ” front bumper lines, one at 150’ and the second at 200’, two 1 Ύ” 200’ crosslays, one 1 Ύ” 200’ rear attack line, one 2 ½” 200’ rear attack line and 400’ of 3” line attached to a R.A.M. monitor for rapid deployment. The engine also carries 1,500’ of 4” LDH and assorted appliances. A Harrison hydraulic generator supplies electrical power to the unit, which has multiple power locations in the front, along the sides and in the rear. A 200’ electrical cord reel is mounted in the rear compartment and a portable 200’ cord reel is also carried to supply power to the emergency scene. The engine has 500 watt quartz lights mounted on the front brow, two on each side (front & rear) and a telescopic light on the rear. Equipment carried includes; six (6) SCBA w/ spare cylinders, Scott Eagle Imager II thermal imaging camera, Drager CO Monitor, Tempest VSX Electric PPV fan, chain saw, hand tools, a True-North RIT bag and a Hurst MOC II Combination Tool powered by a 5hp Honda power unit. The engine meets and exceeds the Queen Anne’s County Fire & EMS Commission Apparatus Standards for a Class “A” Engine. Engine 55 is first due on all fire related responses and second due on rescue related responses.


Engine 51 - 1988 Pierce Arrow Unit has a 1,250 g.p.m. pump with a 1,000 gallon tank. Equipment carried include; (6) SCBA w/ spare cylinders, Scott Thermal Imaging Camera, positive pressure fan, chain saw, hand tools,RIT bag and Hurst Combination Tool. This unit is first due on all fire related responses and in1998 was completely refurbished to meet current NFPA standards.


Engine 52 - 1996 Pierce Lance Unit has a 1,250 g.p.m. pump with a 750 gallon tank and 50 gallon foam cell. Equipment carried include; (8) SCBA w/ spare cylinders, positive pressure fan, chain saw, K-12 saw, hand tools, RIT bag, Hurst JL32B spreaders, Hurst X-Tractor cutter, Hurst X-Tractor-S cutter, Hurst 15, 30 and 60" rams w/ extension kit, Hurst Warthog stabilization kit, Rabbit Tool/Brake Cutter, Dewaltcordless drill and saw, sawzall, air chisel and various other extrication tools, Hurst 30 ton air bag system, foam appliances, hazardous materials equipment and reference materials.

This unit is first due on all non-fire and rescue related responses as well as second due on fire incidents

Tanker 5 - 1999 Kenworth / 4-Guys Unit has a 1,000 g.p.m. pump and a 3,000 gallon tank. Equipment carried include; (2) SCBA w/spare cylinders, hand tools, pre-connected attack lines, short supply lines, hard suction and floating portable pump as well as all hose appliances.


Brush 5 - 1982 Ford F350 4x4 Unit has a 250 g.p.m. pump with a 250 gallon tank. Equipment carried include, brush rakes, hand tools, chain saw, portable bladder bags and underbody spray bar. This unit not only responds for incidents involving natural cover but also responds during inclement weather for structural fires.


Ambulance 5 - 2004 Pierce Medtec Unit is both ALS and BLS equipped. This unit is only our second ambulance to be placed into service for the community and the first newly purchased unit. It replaces a used ambulance we purchased to start transport coverage for our first due area just two years ago.

Chief 5 - 2007 GMC Yukon This unit is used as our Incident Command Unit. The unit is equipped with Incident Management tools such as Command Vests, Work Station, Radios, Nextel and Video Monitor/Recorder for our Thermal Imaging Camera.

It is also equipped with SCBA, Fire Extinguisher and Hand Tools for the Company Officer if he is to arrive on scene first
