Late Friday evening snow started to fall in the first due area and continued to late in the day on Saturday.  Once the snow had finished the entire State of Maryland saw record snow fall totals, with two feet recorded in our First Due.  The firehouse was staffed during the storm, but most residents had listened to the weather report and remained indoors.  As of Sunday evening the Department only had to handle four medical runs and one MVC which turned out to be property damage only.  The Officers wish to thank those who staffed the apparatus during the storm to ensure a rapid response .
