ENGINE 55 RUNS MORNING APARTMENT FIRE

Kent County Box 6001 was struck at 1133 hours for a reported apartment fire at 216 North Kent Street in Chestertown.  Engine 55 was dispatched in addition to Kent County Company 6 due to reports of a "working" incident.  Chestertown units arrived to find a room & contents fire and quickly mitigated the incident.  The crew from Church HIll remained at the Command Post as additional staffing if needed, until released by Command (Chief 6 - Neal).  The engine company returned to quarters within forty minutes.
