 	<title>DWELLING FIRE NEAR MASON'S BRANCH</title>

 <![CDATA[Box 0410 was struck at 1537 hours alerting Engine Companies 41, Caroline County 401, 55, Talbot County 85, Tower 4, Tower Ladder 5, ET4, Caroline Tanker 406, Tanker 5, PM40 &amp;amp;&nbsp;Chief 4 for a reported garage fire at 108 Chris's Drive off Mason Branch Road.&nbsp; E55, TL5 &amp;amp;&nbsp;Tanker 5 responded on the run staffed with twelve volunteers.&nbsp; An Officer from Queenstown VFD arrived first via POV and reported a working garage fire with extension into the dwelling.&nbsp; Caroline Engine 401 was the first arriving suppression piece laying a supply line into the cul-de-sac and deploying an attack line through Side Alpha for fire attack.&nbsp; Engine 55 was instructed to assume the RIT function on arrival.&nbsp; Tower Ladder 5 arrived and reported to Side Alpha to assist with overhaul operations on Side Delta and the garage.&nbsp; Tanker 5 remained in staging but was not utilized.&nbsp; The crew from Ridgely made a good stop on the fire and contained it to the garage with only smoke damage to the interior of the dwelling.&nbsp; The fire was placed under control and units were placed available when ready.&nbsp; Chief 4 (Powell)&nbsp;had Chris's Drive Command.  	<title>AFTERNOON MVC ON MAIN STREET</title>

 <![CDATA[At 1524 hours Rescue Local 0501 was struck for an MVC at Main Street and Sudlersville Road alerting Company 5 and Paramedic 40.&nbsp; Units arrived to find a two vehicle collision with only minor injuries.&nbsp; The occupcants of one vehicle refused and medical treatment, the other driver was packaged and transported BLS by Ambulance 5 to Chester River Medical Center.&nbsp; The crew from E52 checked both vehicles for any hazards and once that was accomplished the scene was turned over to MSP.&nbsp; The eight volunteers staffing Chief 5, E52 and&nbsp;E55 operated for only nineteen minutes before returning to quarters.&nbsp; Chief Jester had Main Street Command....]]>

 	<title>SINGLE MVC ON NORTHBOUND ROUTE 301</title>

 <![CDATA[Chief 5, Engine 52, Engine 55, Special Unit 59 &amp;amp;&nbsp;Ambulance 59 staffed with thirteen volunteers repsonded along with PM600, PM400 &amp;amp; A60 on Rescue Local 0583 at 1921 hours for an MVC w/ multiple patients on NB&nbsp;Route 301 at Roite 302.&nbsp; Units arrived to find a single SUV that had struck the utility pole with the five occupants out of the vehicle.&nbsp; Chief 5 (Jester)&nbsp;assumed Route 301 Command.&nbsp; The occupants were assesed by EMS crews and all transported BLS to Chester River Medical Center by A5 &amp;amp; A60.&nbsp; The engine crew secured the vehicle and SHA was requested since the collision knocked out power to the intersection traffic signal.&nbsp; The scene was turned over to MSP and units went in service when ready.&nbsp; Church Hill personnel operated for thirty seven minutes....]]>

 	<title>MVC W/ ENTRAPMENT ON ROUTE 213</title>

 <![CDATA[Rescue Box 0512 was dispatched at 1401 hours for an MVC with reported entrapment on Route 213 at Roundtop Road.&nbsp; Units arrived to find a passenger car with the driver trapped, that had struck a roll-off dump truck.&nbsp; Kent Engine 6 deployed a protection handline while Engine 52 stabilized the vehicle for extrication.&nbsp; The driver's door was removed, along with the steering wheel and brake pedal, relief cuts were made&nbsp;to the "A" posts and quarter panel to perform a driver side only dash roll.&nbsp; The occupant was packaged and removed by PM40 &amp;amp;&nbsp;DES units for initial stabilization within sixteen minutes.&nbsp; The patient was then airlifted by MSP&nbsp;Trooper 6 to Shock Trauma, Priority 1.&nbsp; The driver of the truck was transported BLS to Chester River Medical Center by Kent Ambulance 8.&nbsp; Once the patients were removed, crews deployed absorbent and kitty litter on the spilled hydraulic fluids from the truck.&nbsp; The scene was&nbsp;turned over to MSP&nbsp;Commercial Vehicle Division for their investigation.&nbsp; The six volunteers from Church Hill cleared within one hour and fifteen minutes.&nbsp; Chief Jester had Church Hill Road Command....]]>

 <![CDATA[While returning from a Carbon Monoxide alarm in Kingstown, Engine 55 staffed with four volunteers was dispatched at 2011 hours on Local Box 0582 for the vehicle fire on SB Route 301 at Route 19.&nbsp; Engine 52 staffed with six volunteers also responded on the run from quarters.&nbsp; E55 arrived to find one vehicle on the shoulder with fire showing from the engine compartment of a passenger car.&nbsp; The crew deployed a handline to extinguish the fire while E52's crew assisted with overhaul and traffic control.&nbsp; The crews operated for thirty minutes and FF Vanzant (E55) had Route 301 Command....]]>

 	<title>ONE TRAPPED ON ROUTE 301</title>

 <![CDATA[Companies 5, 4, PM400, PM600 &amp;amp; EMS 3 were dispatched on Rescue Box 0581 for an MVC with reported entrapment on Route 301 at Route 405.&nbsp; Units arrived to find a two vehicle accident with one trapped and Assistant Chief Hurlock established Command.&nbsp; The crew went to work stablizing the vehicle and preparing to do a side wall and roof removal.&nbsp; During the extrication it was noticed that we would be cutting through the air bag canisters in the &amp;quot;C&amp;quot; post if we continued the roof removal.&nbsp; That option was aborted and the roof was flapped to remove the patient.&nbsp; One patient was packaged and transported to Kent General hospital in Dover, DE Priority 1.&nbsp; The crews then cleared the debris from the roadway and secured the other vehicle, whose occupant refused treatment.&nbsp; The six volunteers staffing Engine 52 &amp;amp; Engine 55 operated for forty five minutes before returning to quarters....]]>
