10 Year Remembrance of Chief Buck Clough, Queen Anne’s Co. LODD
On a wet & dreary evening ten years ago today, the fire service in Queen Anne’s County lost a dedicated volunteer in a tragic accident. Chief Buck Clough died in the Line of Duty while responding in the Sudlersville VFD Chief’s Unit to an appliance fire in the Town of Sudlersville. He is remembered for his valuable knowledge and dedication to his community and county.
The officers and members of the Church Hill Volunteer Fire Company wish to extend our thoughts to the Clough family and all of our Sudlersville brothers and sisters on this difficult day. This tragic event is a constant reminder of how fast things can happen and fast a loved one can be lost. Rest easy, Chief.
