America’s Farmers Grow Communities Grant Received
One of our own Life Members and local farmer Mr. James Hall, III directed $2,500 to the Church Hill Volunteer Fire Company through America’s Farmers Grow Communities, sponsored by the Monsanto Fund, which is a philanthropic arm of Bayer. “This donation will be earmarked to our new building fund, as we are just beginning construction of our new fire station” said Brett VanZant, President of the Church Hill Volunteer Fire Company. “Mr. Hall previously received and directed this award to us, back in 2011. We are gracious to receive the support from Mr. Hall and the Monsanto Fund”.
Celebrating its 10th year, America’s Farmers Grow Communities partners with farmers to support non-profit organizations strengthening rural communities. The program offers farmers the chance to direct a $2,500 donation to a nonprofit of their choice.
