At 1932 hours, while Santa was being escorted around Church Hill, his elves were requested to help on a reported structure fire in Company 7s area.

Engine 52, Engine 55, Tower Ladder 5 and Special Unit 59 responded on the run, which was located on Merganzer Drive in Duck Neck. Rescue Engine 7 arrived to find several outbuildings and a vehicle well involved. Members worked to extinguish the fire and returned after about an hour.

Unfortunately, the remainder of Santa’s Ride had to be postponed and will be completed tomorrow afternoon.
