Site Work Complete, Foundation Poured
The remaining site work has been completed. The concrete foundations have been poured, along with the slab on which the station will sit. A 42,000 gallon water tank has been delivered, which will be used to supply the fire suppression system for the new building. The Town of Church Hill has granted the department an easement onto a property on New Street, which will allow the tank to be stored on that site. This site will have to be cleared as it is currently a wooded lot.
The steel members of the new building have also been delivered and we should see them going up in the next week or so.
